Working from the main entrance of the property, The Villa Porter will be the first person to greet guests at a villa. With excellent etiquette and front of house skills, they will give a warm welcome to guests, introduce them to the house manager (if present), any other interior domestic staff, and attend to any immediate needs and questions.
All porters maintain an immaculately smart appearance and are physically fit and strong, to assist guests by carrying luggage to their rooms, or wherever they prefer. Professional but friendly communication is key to our brand integrity.
The Villa Porter discreetly coordinates all persons arriving or departing from the property including guests with a chauffeur, in taxi or own cars. Where required, and if there is enough porter coverage, they may offer a valet parking service akin to a hotel.
They also coordinate the movements of deliveries and all villa staff including cleaners, gardener, pool maintenance, and client-contracted workers, such as personal trainers, masseuses, drivers, chef, and service team.
The Villa Porter can also assist the movement of furniture or equipment to set up rooms for events, take messages, help with any specific guest requests which might be asked for and relayed as appropriate.
The Villa Porter is vigilant in their duties and will respond to safety issues and take appropriate action in event of an emergency including the report of any unusual or suspicious behavior, calling the police if necessary. In the event of a power failure or maintenance issues, The Villa Porter will respond to investigate the issue and communicate to property manager or owner.
